Try Quinn on the net, My son found they were by far the cheapest (20 with 2 years NCB in a MG ZR )

Hi

After using Chris Knott a couple of years ago for my Bravo tjet, they couldn't beat my quote last year. Gave them a call again today to see if they could beat my renewal of £452 just on the off chance as the cheapest I was getting after searching around was around £400. Mentioned FF and as I was a returning customer they managed to bring it down to £370!!
Saved £82 for 5 minutes conversation.

theyve just told me i cant get FF discount as i havnt got a code?

how do i get one?????!!!!! bit annoying....

Thank you for that.

Luckily the lovely chap on the phone i spoke to 'found' the code for the FF discount for me his end. Sounded a bit dubious, but he did.

And my qoute came out £35 cheaper a year, than my renewal...which is over £300 cheaper than this years...and thats with custom alloys, lowered and tints declared whereas this year i just have alloys declared. Minttt!

I had Chris Knott insurance a couple of years ago and then went to elephant as they couldnt match their renewal thanks to a claim on my insurance. This time at 22 & 1 years no claims they were the cheapest at £681 fully comp on a 1.2 punto. Shame i couldnt get the ability to drive other cars as a clause in my policy but still much cheaper than elephant (£934) (y)

Came in at £300 for me on a new Abarth. Slightly cheaper than eSure with a slightly lower excess...

Think they'll get my money!

I live outside Belfast and if you look at the small print this excludes northern ireland [Why] Is this discrimination we have been told for years that the north is part of the Uk .

It also excludes places like Liverpool and Manchester, it's all about the risk.

No is isn't discrimination. Companies can choose to cover where they want, they wouldn't be the only company to not cover NI ;)

It is a product of recent history in that local firms were far better placed to understand the province - which areas were better than others, etc. Mainland firms don't normally get much of a look in.

It would be interesting to know how many members from each of our forum partners live in NI and if numbers are significant we could negotiate with insurers.

Just renewed my insurance, Chris Knot beat my renewal quote by ~£100, down to £1100 (10 x £88 + £300 deposit for monthly payments) despite adding business insurance, extended legal cover and unlimited milage. Pretty impressed seeing as I am 19, with only 1 years no claims and I don't have the best postcode for insurance.
