General OEM Fiat 500 Backbox?

Does anyone know where I could get an OEM backbox for my 500? Seems as if mine is corroded and blowing. My local garages dont have a clue and i'm just seeing if anyone knows or if not an alternative?

Where are you? If your in the northwest then mine Is just over two years old and still in decent condition. Sure we could come up with a good price.

Are you going to Brooklands in May? Alternatively I could probably get it posted to you. I'm not sure what its worth though and postage will probably be about £15-20

I think Klarius do one with the chrome trim, part no FT850L. They're about £70 ish.

this was what my original back box looked like after nearly five years and 42k miles, now replaced with stainless Remus box.

and, as an aside, here's why I fitted the Koni FSDs, one of my rear shocks at the same age!

Are they better than Longlife exhausts? Had a quote for a new stainless steel back box plus heart shaped tip, fitted for £280?

I like the Remus box, it's designed for the car and slips straight on to a standard centre section, it also looks and sounds nice and is e-marked too. Having said that, if your local Longlife dealer is one of the good ones, they can be decent exhausts too, with the "advantage" of heart shaped outlets!
