Odd noise........

Getting a 'knocking' sound from my nearside front wheel.

I've swapped the wheel over for the offside rear and it stopped for a bit but seems to have started again.

Local garage has had the wheel off and been unable to see anything.

Any ideas?

When does the sound accour ?
It could be the bushes, wishbone arm, outer tie rod end . . .

The sound occurs whenever the car is moving. It also causes a lot a vibration when I get over 80, although it was much worse before I swapped the wheels over.

It's wrong, so very, very wrong.........

Sounds like your tires aint balanced !!!
Go to a tire place and balance them - the vibration will stop
