I currently have a ramair filter that just sits on top of the tb. Seems to do the job fine but I wanted to make a custom "bob" fitting and relocated the filter to a cooler area of the engine bay.
I didn't do anything too extreme or anything, but with the new filter setup, I get a misfire on anything above idle until the engine is fully warmed up. It sounds like it is popping back through the inlet, but I'm not 100% sure.
I put the ramair filter back on and it's all back to normal.
Any ideas as to what is going on? I ran a similar setup when it was a 1.1 and I had no problems???
