Got a 2014 1.2 Lounge from copart. Not driven it yet but my father has been driving it. He tells me that on the odd occasion when it pulls up to a junction or lights it stalls. It rarely happens however and doesn't throw up any codes.

Starts on the button without issues and idles ok.

Any thoughts?

Has it got Stop-Start and the old fella isn't down with the tech? :D

I'd say it was more likely the throttle body idle control valve. TDC would cut out more randomly. Take the air cleaner off, find the ICV and give it all a thorough clean.. could have become crusty sitting around in a yard for a few months.

Thanks for everyones suggestions.

I have run MES and no faults showing. I ran the car till warm and the revs stayed at 700rpm. It did not stall.

I may swap out the crank sensor to be safe, and have a look at the spark plugs aswell. Battery voltage is good at 14.0
