Re: O/T anyone help with a removal of a VideoStudio SE (for the traveler camera)program?

Re: O/T anyone help with a removal of a VideoStudio SE (for the traveler camera)program?
has it got some free functionality?
i got my copy on a cover disk a while back and the freely available parts are enough to keep things in order. (can always post you the disk as i don't need it now)
click on the applications tab and try and use it's removal tool, which may well chuck up the same error; if that doesn't work find the directory you installed the program to and delete it, then click on the issues tab and run a scan, it will hunt down any orphaned registry files/dlls and let you delete them.
You'll probably find a fair few old orphaned entries which will help de-clutter your install.
let me know if you need the disk and I'll post tomorrow.

CCleaner is indeed Freeware, so you shouldn't be paying anyone for it. However, CCleaner will not remove applications that need uninstalling. It simply gets rid of temporary files and other unused junk.
Try downloading Revo Uninstaller. It's freeware and should get rid of this software for you

Re: O/T anyone help with a removal of a VideoStudio SE (for the traveler camera)program?
i beg to differ but it uses the unistaller loaded with the program so will chuck up the same error. thus my directions to delete the instalation files manually and then clean the registry of the orphaned keys
Re: O/T anyone help with a removal of a VideoStudio SE (for the traveler camera)program?
I see your point but all a bit long winded& convoluted, especially for a novice (no offence Rob ). A simple program like Revo will do it all, registry keys and all
