Nut and bolt sizes

I am trying to buy some new coloured nuts and bolts and would like to know how to read and convert the sizesas demon tweaks dont list 13mm,14mm,15mm etc just M8x6.3 etc

i know thismay be a dumb question but its bugging me now lol also if anybody know anywhere cheaper to get bolts from that would be great thanks

The 13/14/15 mm you are thinking of is the size of the bolt head. IE the size spanner or socket that fits it. M8 x 6.3 means the thread size is 8mm x 6.3 long. Off the top of my head M8 is 13mm, M10 is 17mm and M12 is 19mm and so on. Hope this helps.
