Wit the super chips and that off ebay wat happens about the immobiliser and key code light? Anyone know ?

I'm not sure about the Novitec chip but the Superchip needs to be specific for your model of ECU (about 10 types for cinqs) and keeps immobiliser activated. If you get it fitted at a superchips centre, they may give you the right version for your ECU. Pete got his done for £100 iirc.

Honestly I think mine is just as good a superchip. If you look at their performance graphs on the website you will see that their claimed gain is a little optimistic. The maximum performance increase looks like a spike in the graph and is probably a measurement artifact. Compare to my graphs here

But then you pays your money and makes your choice.

Hi
I`ve got a novitec chip? (no markings on it and i bought it 2nd hand off chubbston)
Seems to give a lot more torque and makes the car a little easier to drive (smoother)but performance wise it`s hard to judge it feels more powerful but that could just be wishful thinking
Cheers
Adrian
p.s mckrich if you want to check one out you could borrow mine for a while?(if you can lend me one of yours) (y)
