merry christmas and happy new year to everyone and thanks for all your help with previous postings we had a flat tire tonight i put the spare on but its smaller { space saver ? } is it just a get you home wheel or can we drive on it for a few days ? { slight cash flow probs till pay day next weekend } all help gratefully received an sorry bout the stupid question

not realy recommended to drive around on but if you keep it below the max speed marked on the wheel you should be okay.theres a punto out my way thats had theres on since september!!!just get it fixed asap.ive got the same prob waiting on the cash to by a new alarmB)

Yeah watch out if it's at the front end especially. It will certainly be OK for a few days but you will have to drive cautiously. Don't go much over 50 with it on, and check it's at the right pressure if it's been in your boot for ever and a day.

yeppers be carfull them dam crappy space savers are designed to get you to garage they are crap on grip and handling. so next not to keep on to long especually if on front wheel.

on a side note my sister smashed one of her wheels on a curb she was not happy as had no money. so i popped to a scrap yard and wooo was i inluck there was a crashed mk1 punto with brand new tyres on it you could still see that soap stuff on teh tyres they use to ease them on over the rim. so i ended up geting 2 new wheels with 2 new tyres for £20 bargin :D
