It's now a quarter past midnight, and I'm about to do something I haven't done in years....

Go to bed before 3am.

Then tomorrow morning, something else ... wake up at 8am

Yes, tomorrow is the first day of Uni, and as it's a morning class, and an hour away from my house - it's crack of dawn waking up for me ... sigh.

I'm half excited and half nervous, as I'm joining part way through the year - so everyone's gonna know everyone :(

Also means no weekday nights out - the weekends suddenly became very important.

I just hope there are a lot of hot girls in my class ... ;) :yum:

Bugger me your thinking of leg over and you ain't started yet.. conserve your energy and take that tip from someone who's burned his candle at both ends for many years..

By the way there isnt a hubber hubber smilie to go on the end of the last sentence..:p

No luck here, my uni course (computing) has no girls at all.

All for the greater good we must earn the ways of the comuter to fix the problems caused by folks using the drives as cupholders...pah.

Or worse still, be forced into societies because of pressure from parents, there's work to be done damnit.

Hmm Bangkok girls..... Yum. Will make the early mornings worth it :D. :slayer:

And remember pics or it didn't happen! :D.
Well I forgot to buy sleeping tablets - so it's going to be chancey if I will even sleep tonight. I also forgot to go over the module they did today ... infact, I forgot to do everything.... grr...

I just feel like I haven't really done much these last 5 years - everytime I go to a new country, people ask me "so can you speak X" - to which the answer is always no (unless they ask Japanese of course).

But now, my Japanese is also starting to slip - and I would feel pretty crap if someone said "so you've been in Asia for 5 years, pick up any language" and I say "No!" ... haha.

I used to come here from Taiwan every 30 days to get a new visa, so knew I liked it - then my friend from Osaka moved here and said "why not just stay here and we can live together" - she's also a Japanese teacher, so it seemed like an ideal situation.

I must say though, I thought it would be cheap to study here - hell no - what was uni in the UK, about £1300 a year when I did it .... this course is £4344 a yeah

I tentatively plan to study until December, then go for the N3 exam - if I really enjoy it, I can stay longer and study 4 more months to go for N2. However, thats way to much planning to think about for now (for a start, it would mean no vacation for 8 months - the school here has no breaks!!!!)
