Sun Inn in Pooley Bridge do great food and hmmm chocolate cake
We'll not be able to stay there late due to having James with us.
I'm going to try and finish early on Friday so we can get there for about 6pm.

just checked a few details on the aa website for getting to the ferry terminal, it would take us around 1 hour 15 mins and we would be about 60 miles away at the campsite.

which is great compared to wakefield to ferry port in one go. 300+ miles

what do we need that we not got??

1) what time roughly is everyone planning on arriving at?

2) as we will be leaving between 10.30-11pm on the saturday will we only need to book one night??

I think people are planning to get there about half six on friday.

If you pack your tent up sometime saturday then you wont need to pay

I believe you will only pay for the one night if you pack up your tent on Saturday.
Rob is planning on getting there just after dinner time so he can try and get a large patch for the tents. I'll be turning up later once i've finished work.

Someone will need to save me a nice spot near the rest of you then as I don't have the kind of job you can just run off in your lunch to put the tent up kinda thing I see in the paper Asda have cheap BBQs at the moment, I'll go get a look at the weekend and see if I can get one

think saturday would be better for the bbq as people will have had chance to relax a bit from work.

we bought a marque thingy today from asda to bring for us to sit under if we can put it up.

is there anything in terms of food etc that we need to bring??? what is sorted out so far??

we will try sort out with rob getting there at a similar time so he not on his own getting our section

I will make it if everyone wants it - rice would be great thanks, but if people want to go to pub one evening and then BBQ the next then I dont think people will want it, unless I make it anyway and we can have it for lunch or something, its really nice if you like a kick to your chilli

we can get bread buns and cheese slices for the burgers and some hot dogs stylee rolls if you think we will need em.

we will be bringing a few bottles of white wine. does anyone have a cool box or something?? (might be a daft question)

You can get cool boxes that plug into the lighter in the car for about £30 to £60. Cool bag would be cheaper.

Bring the chili and we'll have it for lunch Drinkswise obviously I'll be your main supplier for pop and juice. I have coolbags also so will load those up and bring them along with foods to be decided later
