Doblo non starter

Hi everyone!
Newbie to this forum. I have a 52 plate Doblo 1.9 diesel van that won't start off the key. I've changed glow plugs and confirmed glow plug relay is operational. has anyone any idea about how I can test the pump to confirm its correct operation. also should I remove diesel filter to inspect for condensate water? thanks in anticipation

Hi,
not got a doblo myself,

but my older fiat diesels ALWAYS had a sensor for fuel condensation,

tried to hear if the fuel pump primes ( buzzing from rear of van) as the heaters are warming ?,

also you could try cycling the heaters 4 times - to build-up HEAT , before trying to start the engine,

Try posting in the DOBLO section too for a more knowledgable / specific answer,

If it is a non-turbo version I would immediately suspect the rotor position sensors (pump)

Hi, just joined the forum read your post, i bought the same van 02 starting probs just like you, anyway changed fuel filter not that, changed flywheel censor not that done all the useual checks, anyway to cut a long story remembered i had a landrover and on the forum it said if the battery loses a little power it stops the pump working, anyway new batt bingo starts 1st time all the time, just thought worth a shot before fuel pump changes.
