I have recently given our Stilo 1.2 16v a cambelt & water pump change. I bought the proper tools for the job and am glad I did as is was a bit of a pig. Since doing this however there is a noise that I can only describe as a kind of scraping noise that only seems to appear when the engine is under load. Anyone have any ideas what this could be? The only other jobs I have done on the car recently were an oil change, new air filter and oil filter. At first I thought it could be an air leak somewhere but am at a loss to see where this could be or how to find it. Car drives well apart from this.
