Multipla 2000 1.9JTD 105:
There is a noise similar to the noise a slightly torn auxilary belt does when its spinning around and hitting something every revolution (hope that describes the noise well enough) coming from the unit driven from the camshaft opposite the toothed pulley. (which I identified as being the brake servo vaccum pump). There is also oil wettnes drom that area.The noise imcreases and decreases with the revs.
Does it need replacing as a full unit or can it be taken to bits and repaired?
In either case does anyone know the prices involved?
