Noise from front...

I'm getting a weird noise I think from the front kind of a quiet dum-dum-dum-dum-dum. It's louder when turning right, might not even make the noise turning left unsure. I gets faster when going faster, and still happens with the clutch in.

Any ideas what I should get the mechanic to check...? does it sound like a wheel bearing issue, not sqeaking or whistling, just thumping ?

PS - It's a 1.6, 99(T), 92k, last serviced nov (inc. brakes), both C.V. joints changed 2 weeks ago.

Start with check/tightening of front wheels bolts. If it will not help, it could be any number of other reasons like faulty bearing in hub or worn out "equal angle spped" joint...
