Hi I have a 98 ducato 2.5 diesel. when i turn the ignition i get just the glow plug light for a short while but no other warning lights. I have checked fuse 1 and it is ok but there is no 12v. Is there another relay in the circuit and if so where is it.
Thanks

Hi, the inertia switch is on the neg line of the fuel pump only. Check power to fuse, if no power either side of fuse, check output from ign switch. The switches are known to fail. From memory ign power out of the key is by way of a blue cable (2 or 4mm)

i have checked the fuses 1 and 2 and there is no power to them at all (they are linked in the fusebox). all the other fuses are ok, clock wipers lights etc. In the morning I will check the ignition switch outputs, I just had a feeling that these fuses were fed via a relay but i could be wrong

Problem solved

There was a an after-market immobiliser relay in the feed to the fuse, Cleaned relay now all ok.
