no power to cd player

fitted new stereo but there's no power going to it when the ignition is off , resets all radio stations every time , anyone got any ideas ? much appreciated

Switch the red and yellow wires round at the back, i had the same problem.

I left mine as it was so that when you switch the car off,stereo goes off aswell.

If you want the cd player to come on when the ignition is off. you need to put the yellow lead from the car into the red and yellow on the iso connector. this will give you a permenent live system. the original bravo stereo i belive has a system where it will stay on for a certain amount of time, well you cant do this with the new one. What you will get by connecting the wires as above is a system that can be left on all the time but obv. you have to turn it off all the time. the other way is swap the yellow and red wires around and then you will get the cd player on when the ignition is on and the data will stay on (radio stations etc.

think i responded wrongl last time.Yer i have to switch the red+yellow wires aroud ton all aftermarket stereos they are wired differently.
But easy fix
