Hello.
Fiat Bravo Diesel 2008 with no plate light.
Have of course check and replace bulbs.
Scanner says obd code 9015. Plate light. Signal above maximum limit.
Have check cables as long as you can see them without remove all interior. Cables look fine from bulbs into the trunc and on the right side to the back door.
Maybe the lamp-holder was a little rusty but not so much that it would matter. Have cleaned it with breakclean and electrical spray.
Some tips where the cables use to break or get copper anger? And what to do more for finding the problem.
Sidelights working fine.

I think so but i will check that. Have test it with a testpen with lamp between battery + and earth on bulb-holder. Maybe i should test it with a 5-10 w bulb instead.
Sounds like a good idea. Any hatchback has the possibility of wires failing where they flex but Bravo has plenty of flexing space at the hinge end so unlikely, Ive had bulbs that didnt work and bulbs where the ends didnt conduct so try a selection. These lights were one of the few things that played up on my bravo.

Thanks for the wire diagram. Have it myself but didnt notice that there is a connector in the rear bumper. How easy is it to remove the rear bumper for get to the connector?
@The Panda Nut As long as understand the wires doesn´t go through the hinge so it should not be the reason. But the wires can have a break for outer reason. Checked the bulb connector and there is no + power to the bulb connector. Have an own suggestion to cut of the + wire i the trunc and try to connect a bulb there just to check if is connectivity there. It is hard when the BCM break power when it find a problem. Of course it also is great but it make it harder to diagnos the fault.

Very very easy A few screws in the wheel arch anda few 10mm bolts under the bumper edge and in the boot door jam The pull it straight back. Dont forget to disconnect rear fog and reversing lights first by taking bulb holders out.
Thanks a lot. Will try to do that and messure in the contact instead of cut the wire. Will be back when i get a result.

Hey again.
Promised you to be back.
As you said the problem was a broken cabel right after the connector named D212 in the images earlier. The cabel was bend around a harnest and was cut off right after the harnest. Great feeling to find the reason.
But i will not say that it ws easy to demont the bumper. Lot of rusty bolts that i was forced to drill out.
Thanks again for your help.
