No output from headunit HELP

Hi guys, I have a bit of a problem. I have a Sony Xplod CDX-GT35U headunit setup with a loudest.com amp in the boot for the rear speakers. The way in which it is setup is that i take the phono output and run it to the amp as you would normally do. However, i suddenly had no sound coming from the back speakers. A quick round with the voltmeter and plugging in other appliances showed that the wiring is all fine, and the amp is working fine. However there doesnt seem to be any signal whatsoever coming from the phono in the back of the headunit. Has anyone had a similar problem before? Any help is appreciated thanks.

Have you checked the remote and for any loose connections on the RCA's?

Sounds stupid but check the HU setting as well, I had a problem like this before and took me 10 mins to realise I'd turned the pre-out signal off on my HU
