I have the no fps error showing, with the airbag warning lights lighting, no fps clears and is replaced by the odometer reading flashing.
A few weeks ago the radio stopped turning on.
The battery was replaced the day after the error showed up.
I've attached a picture of the faults that ate showing up.

my next step is to check the groud connections tomorrow, any other suggestions or advice is welcome.

Yes, check the main ground and other basics. Inspect main fuse/relay box for corrosion (wires, underneath the fuses/relays) and ABS connector.
Then CAN network (one faulty module will take down or spoil almost entire communication in the car), but this is done with a "scope" (oscilloscope), right away you can see trashy waveforms, noise. Most common issues are leading to AirBag, ABS, radio, Blue&Me, dashboard (instrument cluster) modules.
Body, ECU, Steering are more reliable.

As for fuel (cutoff) related errors, it's AirBag module probably (and/or communication with the Body). AirBag + BodyComputer = FPS (or FIS) function.

Check the power quality too (alternator - if it's charging, but low like 14,1 V, it is a "beginning of the end" probably).

So after some testing and checking it looked like the module was faulty (a2c53332208) so I sourced and fitted a 2nd hand one.
I then had a flashing odometer but no "no fps" warning and had one less warning light on thd dash.
Mes showed up crash data(the seller insists there wasn't any on it)

mes can't remove the crash data but could it do a proxy alignment if I get another module with out crash data, of do I need additional software to program it and do a proxy alignment.
Thanks

Would anyone have or know where I could get a wiring diagram, pinout for the continental airbag module, the one with 1 x 24 pin and 1 x 32 pin connector, I'll the ones I've found are for 2 x 24 pin connectors, thanks

Just an update to the current situation.
The original airbag module was confirmed to be faulty.
I got the replacement module to be recognised eventually by flashing it, but this was after many failed attempts due to bad dump files, from various online sources (both free and paid for).

now I have some errors.

b0123-1b drivers abdominal pretensioner
b0116-1b knee guard (drivers side)
b0124-1b passengers abdominal pretensioner

along with these readings from mes that are off
drivers airbag resistance 2nd stage no reading
drivers knee guard resistance 7 ohm.

So a bit more fault finding to do but any advice appreciated
