Hey all,

I have fiat stilo abrath 2.4
I have no audio, it says in the corner that audio is off in red letters. I believe I am using a CN+?
All the audio options are greyed out so I can't select them. I have run a diagnostic and all the speakers work (apparently). I've reset the system to no avail.
It is running version 9.8 if that helps.
Everything else works like the Sat Nav and other menu's.
The speaker in the corner doesn't have a line through it so I presume it isn't muted?
I also have a CD stuck in the CD player.

Thanks in Advance for any help

i have same problem let me no how you get on

Worth a try...... all of the individual modules (MAIN, AUDIO, TEL and NAV) can be switched on or off by pressing the relevant button for 4 seconds.

It would seem that you have an internal fault with the audio module, or perhaps the stuck CD has taken over the audio module.

To remove a stuck CD, you need to remove the top cover then remove the screw holding the eject motor. You'll need a T6 screwdriver for the screw.

Lift the motor up just enough so you can get a finger on the edge of the white plastic gear wheel (arrowed red) then turn the gear wheel clockwise until the CD comes out.

As you turn the gear wheel, the metal tab (arrowed yellow) should move to the left and the CD should start to come out. You can only turn the gear wheel a small amount at a time, so each time you need to release it, hold the tab so it doesn't spring back then turn the gear wheel a bit more until the CD is out.

I have installed the original Hi-Fi audio system on my Stilo. Also i use original sat nav.

Today another Stilo came with the same Hi-Fi audio but original Mp3 Cd-Player in use, and sounds much better and louder, same settings on equalizer. Then i moved his player in my Stilo and surprise, his player did a lot better than my nav.

Is it normal? A standard original player sounds better than the sat nav? Or i have a problem?

No complain, my nav sounds fine, but the cd player sounds better.
