I would recommend going through the northern states, as the southern states are filled with very strange people :nutter: (obviously not all of them).

I've been thinking about this all day
All the big car manufacturers do hot weather testing in Death Valley at Furnace Creek (yeah, it is that hot!) and it's on our route.
There's always loads of spy photographers from the car mags there looking a scoop and I want to take some tank tape and some bin liners...
I can see the headlines in Auto Express now!

if its an early test car, they ofter put fake bodies that look nothing like the original car!
cuz there testing mechanicals, not body styling (see the early BMW 4x4 in Auto Express! looks like a sodding tank!!)
does it have to be binbags? what aboult dying some sheets black and just using lots of tank tape :chin:
and yes it might over heat, but if your determined, take the bonnet off and just cover it with sheeting if your not, turn the heater on full and pray that if you break down some spy photographers will help you out

didnt they test cars there before aircon? all you need to do is stick a KIA or Hyundai badge on it, the journos will just think its a Korean copy then!
