General Newbie Saying Hello

Morning All,

Thank you for letting me join.

My daughter has just purchased her first Fiat 500 and she is super excited, She has a Samsung phone and I was directed here from one of the Facebook group to download files to be able to pair the phone but I don't know where to start lol, please help.

Her car is a 59 plate 1.4 sport

Hi - if it has the original setup then you don't need to download anything, just follow the Blue & Me pairing instructions. I run an '09 with the original setup and it pairs fine with a modern Samsung phone. Just be aware it's calls only, no music streaming available on 500s of that vintage (for which you would need an aftermarket radio). It will though play music files stored on a USB stick...

Thank you for your reply Nick, do you have an idiots guide on how to pair it as I can't even see any options in the menu.

Procedure should be:

MAIN then SETTINGS then select PAIRING. It will give you a four-digit PIN. If you then go into the Bluetooth settings on the phone, after scanning you'll either get "Blue & Me" or a long number starting ZFA312. Select that and enter the PIN. Choose auto reconnect or similar and fingers crossed you should be done.

(All in the Blue & Me supplement to the handbook if you have it somewhere).
