Hi everyone
Hope you can help
I have a 2005 fiat doblo 1.9 JTD and the problem I have got is it has got really bad turbo lag until about 2000-2500 RPM
Apart from that it drives and runs perfect
So here's the story I bought this car knowing something wasn't quite right
So after reading up decided to have it re mapped to hopefully sort the problem
It didn't
So after speaking to the guy he advised me that what he had done was fine and that it must have another problem possibly with one or the other of sensors
I found one got the correct cleaner took it cleaned and replaced
Not much difference
I can't find or remember the of the other sensor but I think he said it was somewhere on the boost pipe
Anyway when I took the battery tray/air cleaner out I noticed a lot of oil around this sensor not quite sure what this sensor is for but hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction
Thanks for taking the time to read this

Hi, and welcome,
sounds like you've got a fundamental issue..,
I would've hoped the company doing the remap would've only proceeded once the basics had been sorted,

PS I've asked that this is moved to the correct section ;)

The remap company should not have done anything and should not have taken your money as car had a problem to start with.
Which company did the remap?

You may be confusing the boost control solenoid valve with a sensor.
You really need to have the ECU read for stored fault codes using software like Multiecuscan.
