Hello,

I just joined your forum as I just purchased my first project car, 1985 Fiat Bertone X 1/9. I almost bought a 1979 when I was 17 years old and did something stupid (can't remember what now) and wasn't allowed to buy the car. Now I have one!

Where would you recommend as a good starting place for an American to start learning how to work on this vehicle? I intend to do some modifications(wheels, breaking, intake, exhaust) but as of now, not much else. Where should I be looking?

Hi, and welcome to FF,

look at the bottom of the CARS section for "other FIAT's"
there are a few X1-9 owners on here,
I suspect looking for a users / maintenance manual.. may be a great idea
