Tuning New to me rough 1772 Fiat 850, won't run continuously

Here's the temporary frunk gas tank. I mounted the fuel pump on a chunk of foam rubber; it's super quiet. The old one was super loud.

Good job, is it driving ok now? I’ve had multiple Weber carbs become warped between the two main parts that mate together, if they’re not flat it can draw fuel/air from the float bowl area straight down the venturis

I hadn't given it a fair test yet. I drove it around my neighborhood and ran it out of gas a block away. I has 2 gallons in a can at home and managed to get it home. I've yet to put premium in it. It should take premium, right? I don't trust it any further than I can walk (or call my wife) yet.

Brilliant. The finer tuning will be down to the mixture, timing and ignition set up.
