New Sound system- PICS ON THE WAY!!!

Well after going to hell and back! including plugging up my full tank i have finally wired in my new subs!

The box and amp rack are only temporary untill i get the jig saw out!

But boy do these subs boom, even though i havent got the power to get them on full song they are still more then powerful enough for me!!!

I spent about half an hour just playing with the levels and now it sounds sweet!

Thanks alot danny, i really apprciate both the comment and you posting them up for me!

I dont like the way the boot looks at the moment but the sound fantastic! even though they can be powered more i couldnt take anymore!

The subs are amazing, shame the housing is poo at the moment!

@Smee...Yeah Jig saw will be out soon! but not just yet! have a little break because it take the fun out of it if i do it all the time! You can not see them that bad as they are behind my rear screen which has a limo tint on it!

Just one suggestion, why don't you run the speaker cable up behind the boxes out of sight...

also, i would re-route the cable that go to the second voice coils round the sides...if you know what i mean...they could do some damage covering the ports on the subs.

I will try to re-route the cable but i dont think i have enough length (they arent stretched in the photo, i just did them like that because it looks better), i agree, if the cable is long enough they would look better round the back!

Also, the cable over the top doesnt cover the port that much but still, i will try what you said!

I would get some more cable later on if they are too short...it will look much neater...

As for covering the ports, it may not make much difference, but i wouldn't risk it...(have you even put a piece of paper near the back of them when they are turned up, alot of air gets forced through there!)

PaurR, T10 is in Oxford, starts at 10am tomorrow and goes on all day. Basically its a talkaudio meet held by the guys who run caraudiodirect.

By the way tom, these subs can be wired to work at 4ohm, looking through all the wiring diragrams they can be wired to almost any ohm?

Anyway, i hope you like them, i know you aint a fan of audiobahn but believe me they have a nice sound!

Does it say what ohm voice coils they've got? If they are dual 6 as per the website then it can't wired 4ohm.

Shame you can't come to T10, bit of a short notice though
