General New Owner - Seat Adjustment

Hi,
Just purchased a 2005 4x4 Climbing….a lovely one owner FSH 51k example; for my daughter to learn in. She is 5’0” and we’re struggling to get her comfortable with full clutch depression with the seat at closest and height adjustment fully up. We can try a cushion but wondering if anyone knows of a different seat base or anything else as an option…..I’m really surprised that we’re having this issue in a Panda as she’s been fine in a Polo and a Focus. Perhaps we have a slider issue but it doesn’t appear so.
Any helpful advice gratefully received!

Are you sure it's sliding fully forwards

Someone drive my Panda that's 5'2" and they don't have the seat fully forward

Although not the 4x4 which has different seats

It's not that unusual for a polo mint or similar to fall into one of the rails

Thanks; turns out you’re right; it was so gummed up it wouldn’t slide forward fully. Now cleaned and re-greased….a very tiny person could now drive it
