Hi Guys
Just back from holiday & I now have Yanninya's induction kit .
First impressions are pretty good - it looks well made & fits easily . One thing I particularly like is the whole kit is approx 1" lower than the stock filter case -meaning I can use the stock Punto 75 TB spacer , rather than the modified one I had made up . The stock filter case fouls the bonnet with the 75 spacer . The 2nd pic shows the studs (included with the kit)

I ordered a kit in yellow to match my car . It's not a great colour match (as Yanninya advised me before I bought) , but that's not a problem . I'll rub it down & spray it Broom Yellow with an aerosol can in due course .

I don't yet have a filter to fit , but thought I'd give it a quick try anyway . I only did a couple of miles with a not fully warmed engine , so I'll not make any comments on performance improvements . However , one thing I did notice was a much quieter intake than my current "cut-off" system .

Anyone else bought one yet ??

No it doesn't . I'll rig up a connection myself - should be easy as the bob is fibreglass .
Yanninya - maybe this is something that could be incorporated on later designs ??

I advice to fit on cam cover small air filter. Disconecting breathe pipe is good for performance. But if there will be group of people which want the connecting point for breathe pipe it is not a problem for prepare version with that.

John, How much did you pay in total, including bank fees? If you don't mind saying that is!

And Yaninnya, What size filter fits onto the pipe as I have a spare 70mm filter that I could use?

Jon.

I and a friend of mine started production of induction systems for Cinquecento and Seicento. It can be fitted to 0.9, 1.1 and 1.2. The dyno results are very, very impressive:

The site is very slow. Be pacient!
The car (CC 1.1) was totally standard. The filter which we used for test was K&N with 90 mm diameter and 127 mm tall. It even don,t has any heat cover!
And the system looks as on attached file. Also this induction you can see on gallery on our club member Hustla (he ordered blue one). His site:
www.hustla.one.pl
The cost of complete system (but without air filter!) is 60 pounds and cost of delivery to England is around 10 pounds.
Who wants one?
all there for you ;),guessing 90mm is fairly standard

The pipe have 65 outside diameter. It is possible to fit 70 mm inlet air filter when you bolt the clamp tight.

how much the bank'll charge me to transfer cash overseas.
We used Western Union. AFAIK the cost of set the money was around 10 pounds. For accurate quote you must wait for John response.

Hi Guys
Sorry , missed this one as I've been a bit busy since returning from holiday .

Western Union charged me £14 .

I painted the induction kit with an aerosol can of Broom Yellow & fitted a Ramair cone filter .
It's all fine , works well , looks good & the intake noise is hardly noticeable (I don't like noisy cars).
I also fitted an intake for the breather pipe as the car smelt a bit "fumy" without it .

Having said that , Looks like I might sell the car as my daughter is 17 and will need to be added to my insurance for a while . I have an 899 Cinq which will be better/cheaper to insure than adding to the 1242 .

So if anyone's interested , it's an N reg Cinq Sport , Broom Yellow , 40 odd K miles on the clock , MOT & Tax until June next year , 1242 Punto 75 engine running spi via a Punto 75 38mm TB lower half with Cinq Sport top half . Yanninya's induction kit with Ramair filter , Mccrich chip , Magnecor leads , 6.5X15 OZ racing wheels with 195/45/15 tyres , Apex lowered suspension kit (springs & shocks) , Momo style steering wheel , magnolia dials , good interior , small dent on lower part of passenger door & the usual small parking dents , evidence of bodywork repairs at front end , debadged rear , roof spoiler (not fitted) , OMP strut brace (not fitted)
Drives great , but would give more power with a custom-chip as it feels a bit weak at low revs .
When I fitted the 1242 engine in July , I also fitted a new cam belt & water pump . The car also comes with the old 1108 engine , head(not fitted) and a spare Punto 1242 mpi head .
£900 and you can drive it away .(remember long tax & MOT)
The car's in Farnham , Surrey
