Absolutley not. The K&N kit has only silly cone air filter fitted on Throttle and injector body. It can't work property. I don't know why K&N made such a crap.

I can't tell you that because firstly I have never use K&N kit because of its dramaticly bad design/construction (open air filter in one of the hottest parts of engine bay and it giving to short inlet system) and secondly the is the matter of type of induction. I can only gess that it will be simillar or the same. And my induction system do not include air filter, only I mentioned that we tested this system with K&N fitted. You can use any producer air filter.

I don't know the dimensions of BMC F1. The K&N filter which we used to tests is 127mm long and it's diameter is 90 mm. In CCS there is not much more space for air filter (with our induction system).

Sorry i meant the piping will it fit the throat of the f1 as its got a bore of 80mm not sure the size of the piping your using.I will sqeeze it in somehow its 140mm long not sure how to measure the diameter but if im right straight across the top its also 140mm what sounds a lot lot bigger than the K&N

The outside diameter of the pipe is 65 mm.

You don't need bigger air filter than this K&N. It is only 1.1 engine. Of course you simply can't fit "too big" air filter but anything bigger than this K&N wil give you 0.1 or maybe 0.2 bhp more. It is not race car where each 0.001 bhp counts.
