finally purchased this unit from ra.ricambi in itally450 euro + shipping + import duty.
not so sure new (as advertised) unit not packed like new ,no mounting hardwear and covered in fingerprints ,facia annd din unit.
anyhow would this drop straight in , (provided i can find the required mounting screws) ie will it need coding to vehicle?
it did come with its own 4 digit code.

Take a picture of what you have got and I’ll tell you if you have everything you needhi,again

have the adapter plate , unit ,and unit front plate.but looks like i need 4 screws to mount the main unit to the adapter plate.
pictures will follow eventualy. but i believe tomorrow when trying to fit , should just work , ie no coding to vehicle.

Mine came with a code but I never had to enter it. It just worked

so instaled its a aptiv f139 7 inch says 2024 supposed to be new. as you sais fired straight up .
is it possible to switch on uconnect features as app asks for vin , but thats not applicable .
also no wifi facility on unit , is that correct. also extra light grey conection on back , whats this for.
and further anyone have the user manual for this unit.
