Technical 2013 Panda Twin Air 4*4 gearbox and diff oil change

Hello! I'm looking to get the oil changed in my gearbox and diff on my Panda. I know it's not got a transfer box unlike the diesel but I can't find the correct specs for the oil anywhere, can anyone help? I've searched the forums but can't find anything definitive.

There's a YouTube video somewhere that deals with diff oik and specs from the guys in Spain (or Portugal - I forget) and their cat. Much discussion re specs. And eventually they change the oil...

The procedure for changing the rear differential oil is pretty complex, as there are various cavities it’s pumped into in use. Somewhere there was a previous post which described it all. It’s much more than just ‘drain and refill’. (Also, not listed as requiring changing in the first 120,000 miles of use)

Whilst under rear of the car looking at somthing else, I discovered a leak from the diff a few weeks ago. It turned out to be from the input flange shaft oil seal. After spending ages finding the original supplier of the seal I ordered it and oil and set about replacement.

• I had the car up on four jack stands and measured the centre of the wheel hubs to get the car as level as possible.
• Fill the diff until oil came out, put the filler plug back in.
• Run the car in 1st for a minute.
• Disconnect the ELD solenoid, handbrake ON and run in 1st again for a minute. Repeat in reverse.
• Handbrake OFF, reconnect the solenoid, engage 1st, run again for 1 minute.
• Run in 1st gear, begin to pull the handbrake up until the engine labours and eventually stops.

At this point the 4x4 system is fully bled and working. Now, remove the filler plug and recheck the level. When I did this I was able to put another 100ml of oil in before the level was reached - this definately indicates that the diff needs to be exercised properly in order to ensure the correct amount of oil goes in.
