Sounds good! Will definitely try to make any meet u guys are doing. Other than that my geography outside london is very poor. Been here all my life including school/uni/work etc. But will make an effort to meet anywhere! Guess it's not too hard to look at a map!

Matching Motors

I'm still trying to convince my missus that getting matching cars is the way forward but she won't have it. She's got an Escort Ghia X at the moment, I keep on trying to sell it behind her back, lol.

and about finding us well where i live im sure you could find epsom downs not hard can't remember the junction off the m25 but if you could make it to kingston, croydon or sutton im sure we could meet you there and lead you the way. im sure you would know how to get to one of those places..

I just about know how to get to the M25! I'm up on juction 22/23 or something? Got a feeling your on the complete other side! But hey, it's no problem. Need to do more miles anyway. My whole driving life has recently totalled 2000 miles since last june!

yeah i hav a feeling it junction 11 is where the a217 is where abouts do u live, i kinda hav a rough idea of london but you kinda hav to tell me a place that is well known that you live near

I live near edgware and more specifically in Colindale. Its near the top of the northern line on the edgware branch. Does that ring any bells? Its not million miles from harrow either.

ok maybe thats the only place i havn't herd of harrow rings a bell but can't pin point where abouts. think you are about 45min HGT drive around the motor way not to far if its easy to get on the m25. if you can get on the m25 you cant go wrong. or we could just meet you in southend and meet up with the rest of them but hav 2 sort out my car first.

I'm cool either way. If i meet you in southend, i'd probably get my friend to drive down as well as i haven't done it before and am crap at that sorta thing! M25 is easy for me. Only about a ten minute drive to get on it, so it should be fine!

For people coming off the M25 or from kent/sussex, lakeside shopping centre at thurrock would be agood place to meet before cruising down to Southend through planet Essex (it is a different planet )

i want to try organise a meet for a sunday afternoon not a meet on a saturday night. i never hav anything to do after i clean my car on the sunday. anybody up for a sunday after neen meet, my be a pub lunch aswel mmmmmmmm

Lakeside junction?

Both idea's seem good to me! Be it a saturday night or sunday avo!
What junction is lakeside off the m25? Is it before junction 29 and the big bridge thing?! (Dartford crossing?!)

I used to live in Mill Hill, then Broadfields. lol.

Anyway,
coming to Southend is easy mate.

Just go to Brent Cross, follow the A406, then A13 then A127. The 127 will take you right onto the seafront.

Would be good for us to meet.

Ah, that's fantastic! An ex-local boy!
You know, it was another guy who lives locally to me that inspired me to get a bravo. He's got an HGT with an induction kit/exhaust set-up and it always sounds fantastic! So i thought that was an obvious choice for my first ever car!
Actually met him the other day and he's a very decent bloke.
Anyway, a meet sounds good. Probably not till after donnington weekend, but definitely after!

did you say you were going to Donnington or Doncaster. If you are going to Doncaster, then you can convoy with us. I'll go via the M25 so we could meet at South Mimms services or on the M1 (near Watford etc).

Hi Jay, sorry, i meant donnington. However i have been introduced to the delights of south mimms service station recently. The saxo guys meet there before heading to to Reading on a Sunday evening. Lord only knows why a sunday. But its pretty cool going down in convoy to see all those mental cars in Reading!
