Grande Punto New Grande Punto.

Introduction

Bought my new car Wednesday, love it! Was going to go for C2 VTS, though my mind soon changed the second I sat in it.

Does anybody have any ideas as to what I can do with regards to tints etc?

I want to avoid the chavy look (like my old corsa) but do want to modfy it.

Black mirrors? How dark should I get tints? Any ideas would be great! :D

Right.

Firstly, plasitidipped the bottom of my bumper and got my pressed plates on:

Personally, I think plasitidip is **** for this sort of stuff. Especially if like us you try and mask - the tape removes the paint when its time to remove.

I'm thinking about getting it permanent with a bumper respray - thoughts?

Also, my springs are rusty? Is this normal:

Thanks to TangoMachine91 for the help!!!

Bumper and plates are looking top mate and your red is annoyingly red!

I've been thinking of doing the bottom bumper (partly because my is scraped- wasn't me) but I'm thinking of going more down the vinyl root, what do you think?

Cheers mate! Actualy, my bumpers have faded massively. Honestly they are pink next to the body (respray next month possibly though).

Vinyl looks good if done right, which it will be if you have patience (unlike me). Not sure about his on the link, suppose it suits if you do the bottom part too :)

cheers (y) there ent much else matt on the car so I think gloss will look better on yours, like the others are sayin though if you have matt mirrors and bumper it should look good

I'm with you on this one!

Also, when I see black matt it looks like you don't have body coloured mirrors and makes it look like a lower spec one :/ gloss black looks like a factory option

I must agree? Gloss for the mirrors and matt for the bumper. But if you want it all to tie in then do it all matt. The bumper will only look good in gloss if its done professionally.

it will be done professionally mate. Having the bumper repsrayed so was gonna get this done too. I can't decide between matt and gloss for bumper now. I think i've decided gloss for mirrors, but the bumper?

I've seen some **** gloss paint jobs, but also some sweet ones. I do like the fact that matte can make it look like it's a plastic part of the bumper, similar to an abarth.

I just can't decide! help!

EDIT: but then the matte mirros may look good with the matte bumper. But gloss mirrors with gloss bumper? Too hard to choose.
