Styling new front grille

Do these grills come in the standard black colour, or do you have to paint them?

They seem to be black on all Stilos, at least the ones I've seen. I'll probably take a digital picture when I have it installed, and do some Photoshop magic to see what it would look like in Loden Green.

I suspect it looks better in black though.

I'm pretty sure the 3 and 5 door grilles are identical. Just the front spoiler+bumper are different. Better ask though if you're going to order from Merkur (cheapest front grille I found btw.)

The grilles do differ between the 3 and 5 door models. My 5dr has a black plastic grille with chrome fronting.

My Fiat CD lists a mod in Sep 2002 - the 5dr grille "has had the Hot Stamping removed" - any ideas what that is?? (perhaps it's the chrome?)

Yeah, prob the chrome. Hot stamping is a process to print with metallic foils.

on your advice Proc i have emailed merkur to see if it will fit a 5 door o.k.
would have thought it will but will let all my fellow 5 doorers know when i hear off them.

IT is not a complete merkur bumper, but a reworked Fiat one (kinda unique, just tha way I like it )
The side scirts are the original fiat ones.
The headlight masks are indeed fixed using glue..
The Grill I imported from Germany...
