Hi there,
Bought a new crank pulley as i though my own was shot...i had put it back on wrong after timing belt replacement.

So pulley arrives today and i intend putting it on anyway for peace of mind.
Its a genuine Fiat one but it needs shorter screws than the original...much shorter...im in Ireland so it would cost me 15£ with P&P for right the screws off shop4parts.

Just wondering if anyone just cut down the original screws??...probably not possible as i think they have a shoulder.

Or if anyone bought the right screws and if they are in anyway special??
Cheers,
Marty

Assuming it's the same as the Stilo JTD modified crankshaft pulley, the new bolts are just a shorter version of the originals.

Ah perfect ...yeah its identical..

That saves me some thinking because i couldnt remember if the original bolts had a shoulder (non threaded portion) where they passed through the crank pulley or not.

I should be able to just cut the originals down if thats the case.

Marty.

I had the same problem. Ended up reusing the old bolts actually. Which is not idea, really. In fact the same problem hapenned again with the DMF and FIAT supplied the wrong bolts... :bang:
