new bravo sub and amp

hey guys looking to put a sub and amp into my 2007 bravo have any of you done this ? if so any tips on where to put the wires ect ?

I run mine along the right hand side of the car, the left is a liitle harder as you have the boot release switch to go around. For grounding the amp I used 1 of the screws that holds the carpet down in the boot. Remove the carpet and scrape the paint off around the screw hole then it makes for a very secure grounding point and no need to drill another hole.

im tryin to do it using the original headunit thou i need to no where i can easily get to the speaker wires and which colours

OK its easy to get them from one of the rear door speakers. Unclip the door card so you have access to the speaker. You will only see 2 wires going to the speaker (front door speaker you see 4 - 2 are for the tweeter I believe) Anyway what I done is just cut right through them and then used a RCA line out converter to get the feed for the sub. The tricky part is then getting the RCA through the grommet in the door into the car as neatly as possible

well i could just find out what colour wires they are and then do it from the b pillar instead of the door lol

In theory yes but it runs down the length of the car with a tonne of other wires and I'm not brave enough to tamper with them lol I could try to find out the colour from the back of the head unit I am fitting back the original head unit tonight
