The initial post should rather say 'never get your van done by a dealer'.
They are only ment to earn lots of money, not repair the cars. Same everywhere, same every make...

I was quoted over £1000 by a Fiat Professional dealer for the robot hydraulic fluid change and clutch fluid change.
Thanks to @Seanwinder22 I have now purchased Multi ECU scan and will do it myself.
Exactly. There are not many workshops that now how to deal with this robotized gearbox. It's delicate, need precise and regular servicing, if forgotten gets problematic. And then the workshops tend do replace everything, because don't know how and what to do.

Yes very true buddy service regular and it will run a long time a friend that helped me is now at 149k miles he’s had no major issues just wear and Tare of sensors solenoid and accumulator odd relay
But fiat themselves started this drive of issues telling dealers to pass the word on to customers to top fluids up only and don’t change

and keep on top and it will run great buddy and remember to change the odd part on age As in the accumulator if 9 years and over change it before big issues start and swap the pump motor relay because the original will carry on working but they burn out on pins which cause shorts
Similar happened to me with Evo solenoid one pin was shorting and snapping my selespeed harness contact pin which I thought it was getting put back on wrong and snapping the pin
But was not the case it was shorting out and cracking and causing a short circuit
But has the comment below says fiat prefer to change the complete robot rather then change solenoids, sensors etc it’s ridiculous
I was in the same boat and got told I needed a clutch kit £1600 and maybe a robot has the clutch fluid was dark lol
It was the clutch position sensor and Evo solenoid after changing and new fluids it’s been like a new gear box especially with the kiss point etc and calibration
