Need Help please

Okay, so I've got my first car.. A Fiat Punto 1.2 75 SX (N Reg)

My question is, what car stereos are compatible with it? Can I go out and buy any old one, or what specs am I looking for? As you can guess, I'm not exactly clued up when it comes to cars. I'm not looking for some hefty sound system, just a basic stereo that has an aux port on it.

Yeah any stereo from halfords or wherever will do. You may need extra connections I'm not sure. Have a look through the guides for help I think there's is one for wiring a stereo. Mk1 punto?

Thanks for the info, it is a Mk1. Just wasn't sure if a lot of these newer stereos would be compatible, considering the cars just under 20 years old!

Here's a link to remove the factory fitted radio ( if that's what you have ATM). I will try find something about putting in a new one.

I think it's pretty straight forward enough. I know on the mk2 you need some extra connector with the radio probably same for mk1. Should be instructions anyway with new radio. Good luck anyway
