Hey All.

Its time for me to buy a new car. I drive a Fiat Bravo 1.4SX at the moment, but am looking to invest in a new car.

Now I have considered the following cars:-

Ford Puma
Hyundai Coupe ( 1996 - 2002 )
Fiat Bravo HLX

But really cant decided what to get.

Was wondering if anyone else had any ideas ?

Also wondering if anyone is selling a Fiat Bravo HLX in the North East region....

Thanks

i looked at a hyundai coupe instead of the bravo, but there is just something not quite right about it. There are just too many curves and the wheels don't look like they fit correctly. Plus you do get the feeling your driving a cheap car with a shell on it.

I personally wouldn't buy a car i have already owned, even if a different spec, may as well get something completely different whilst you changing.

Leaves you with the puma, hairdresser by any chance? lol

A few Q's.

What is your budget?

What sort of performance do you want from it?
Petrol/Diesel?
Is insurance group an issue?

Three i would be considering...

Audi A3 ('98 £5500)
Ford Focus 2.0 Ghia ('00 £4000)
Astra 2.0 SRI ('99 £4200)

My budget is around about £4000 ...

Dont want too high an insurance group, perhaps 12 max .....

Just fancy a change from my Bravo, which by the way is for sale ....

And no Im not a hairdresser lol ....

Any other ideas?

mitzy fto?
nice looks and average performance not too high insurance as they aren't as hot as they look.

I looked at an FTO when i bought my HGT, certainly alot slower than it looks and the insurance is high. As far as i could find out they are all imports and most insurers wouldn't insure you without a tracker.

I looked for ages m8, but i couldn't find it, sorry...

I think it was ig14.

From your three the Puma is going to be the most fun, but not a lot of room out of a coupe based on a Fiesta.

How about one of the seat Leons? There is something for every pocket and insurance group there.
