Technical Need help - Cant find bolt type.

Hi there,

I have a leak somewhere that was letting water under the rear carpet. So to get to it I was taking apart the side panel however getting the lower seat belt anchor point bolt out was difficult as It had rusted behind the panel. Problem is that when getting it off I snapped the bolt in half.

Does anyone know what type of bolt it is so that I can get a replacement.

Perhaps Fiat dealer could sell you one



Or maybe a scrap yard.

Can't tell much about the part number as it don't begin with a 1

Bolts will never cost that much. On a safety first thought, I'd recommend getting a new one from Fiat as if you get one from a scrapyard you wouldn't necessarily know if it had been in a crash.

Good point on the removal of the other half and saftey....

The air bags would be a good indicator... if your allowed in to the yard to remove it your self.

I'm aoff in search of a MJ panda on a relitivley local yard tomorrow.
