Technical Need help!!! 1.2 stilo

iv got a 1.2 stilo and the other day my engine management light came on when i was goin around a bend..then the engine started to cut out evrytime i come to slow dwn and put my clutch in..i plugged it in2 a diagnostic machine and it came up as HEIGHT SENSOR/INDUCTION MANIFOLD PRESSURE SENSOR FAILURE..i was wondering were is this sensor located on the car..and if i can get it cheaper than the fiat dealers..iv had a look on ebay and im not sure if it is the thing im after because i dont no what it looks like..

The MAP sensor in the listing is only shown a suitable for the 1.6 engine Stilo.

Your MAP sensor may only need cleaning or it could have a wiring or connector fault.

Yes it's could easily be just a poor contact there at the MAP connector so I'd disconnect it and clean the contacts with electrical contact cleaner. Reset the fault code (see what the fault code number is there first). Let the connector dry, plug it back in and see what it thinks of that.


MAP sensor is really easy to find
