Need a little help

I have just bought a Fiat Bravo and when I phoned to get it insurered they said that if it had alloys on it, it you be okay if they where orginally on the car when new ! but how would I find that out? any help you be great

I can't see why it would matter. You have declared that it has them on NOW, they should insure it as such.
What model is it, and what year?

its a Fiat Brava 1.2 SX 5 Door Hatchback 2000


I said I think it has them on and she said well its would be okay if they where on from new but not if they have been added, and I would have to check it out

Welcome to the club.

To be honest, i'd assume the car came standard with alloys and tell them they are standard.

BUT...

If you own a Bravo HLX/GT/HGT then yes it comes with 15" alloys as standard. There are Abarth alloys which also could be standard fit on the lower models.

If you have these alloys on your car then they are original fiat standard fit alloys:

Sorry but cant find the abarth alloys. They are 14" though in size.

Thanks, I will wait until tomorrow when I collect the car and let them know that I think they are standard alloys.... it just sounds crazy they are okay if fitted when new but not if added I'll phone them tomorrow and try and sort it out..... Thanks to all who replied to me...Its good to be aboard...I think I'm going to love this car it looks GREAT
