General NEC Classic Motor Show 2013

I was absolutely knackered when I got home on Saturday, and I had only been there for a day, and as a visitor to! Didn't spend too much time on the stand, there was far too much else to see! Still, had a good chat with everyone though, including some interesting ideas for next year;)

Well it's taken me all day to re-charge my batteries enough to post!

Great show again though, the Pandas did us proud, as did the other Fiats on the stand. :worship:

All attendees were a pleasure to spend time with, even Stiggy! ;)

Big thanks to Gavin for inviting me along once again, long may it continue. (y)

This really should be marked on everyone's calender for next year. Nowhere else in this country will you see such a staggering display of classic cars.

Re: NEC Classic Motor Show 2014

I'm resurrecting this thread, as I can't really be bothered to start a new one!! ;)

It's that time of year again, and the Panda's will once again be taking over the NEC in November. (y)

This year's show is 14-16th November. It would be good to see anyone there - if you're planning to go, pm me before in case there's a spare entry ticket going begging.

I'm hoping to have 4 Panda's on the stand. Vernon VmanC is taking one (not sure which yet!), Freddy panda1408 is taking his Sisley (it's a bit scraggy, but it will look ok I'm sure  ), and we have that mk1 Panda Abarth (which people have mentioned might exist before, but put in the same category as unicorns, yeti, and honest politicians  ). There might be a guest appearance by Panto if Vernon's sorted him & I've found a driver ( scout is a possibility).

So plenty of Panda's for everyone I'm sure you'll agree. The rest of the stand will probably be a mk1 Croma Turbo, a 125 (unless the 2300 saloon is repaired), an 850 Coupe, something very sporty with an Alfa badge on it, and either a 127 or Fiat Coupe (depending on the size of the space left!). :worship:

Ah right, ok. Well the Wheeler Dealers project is still under wraps according to the NEC website. Logically you'd have heard by now BUT mags/TV/journos all work on need it in 2 days at the other end of the country in my experience!! Why not drop them an email?

We stay at the Premier Inn at Hockley Heath (there are loads near Brum so make sure it's Stratford Road, Hockley Heath - you wouldn't be the first to book the wrong one!! :bang: ).
