My smart 451 passion

Picked this up today, its a right laugh to drive and has replaced my 500 after being bumped into twice
Really happy with it and without a Fiat for the first time since 1997, which is weird.

How are the gearboxes on them now?

Gearbox is miles better, in auto it sometimes get a little confused but in manual its very good. Leagues ahead of the old model, nice to rest the left leg all the time though

is it one of the newer mitsubishi engine'd ones *looks at pic* duh, course it is. What engine is in it then, turbo'd?

(don't fit big wheels, big tyres, turn full lock and foor it in reverse or this happens ! )

Ouch, dont worry I shant do that!
Its the 71hp non turbo... dont trust turbos and yep its the Mitsu engine.

It's really nice although I always liked my Smart for it's looks, just the dodgy gearbox. Glad to hear the manual setting has really improved. Hope to see it around the area so I can wave!

It looks fab! I always had a soft spot for smarties, but my hubby put his foot down as he is 6 ft 2 in and alegedly really uncomfortable in it Interior looks gorgeous!

Looks ace! I was looking at the Fortwo before I bought the 500. I was really impressed with them. They drive nicely and I thought the gearbox was fine. Lift off the power when changing and there was no jerkyness at all. The interior is lovely too, albeit a bit narrow.

The red interior looks wicked, very vibrant!

Like it though , very nice!, are you going to drive it flat out like all the smart car drivers near me do, god they seem fast, but its just because they are ragging their car and im not!
