Problem is us Northern types think that it's 'soft' to drive an automatic, we like to show off our gear changing prowess

How about exporting it Southwards for a try down there?

Apparently Southern types have weak wrists and would welcome a selecta :p

I was thinking along these lines also (y)
Only problem is if it goes cheaply that panda breaker might get hold of it! (n)
Don't want to be harsh or anything but... If you're struggling to get shot of it for next to nothing and nobody on here wants to take it on it's got a good chance to get broken anyway. ( and to be honest it's probably too scruffy for breaker guy, he only breaks really good looking ones specially to annoy us:mad:)

I don't really see why this doesn't sell, though I haven't seen the car. If it isn't the car or description (honest is good, but don't make it sound like a shed), then it must be the location.

Running slightly scruffy Panda's should sell for £500-£600 all day long round here. I really don't see why yours isn't a £400 car for a quick sale even if it's scruffy and even if people are suspicious of a Selecta.

Have you any way of getting it down South, to have a crack at selling in a different location?

Northern born and bred: and there's nowt wrong wi'n automatic, tha knows. ;)

How else are you supposed to drive one-handed, when chompin' on tripe; wrestlin' wi' ferret; and beatin' t'missus wi' yer flat cap...? (Not to mention kickin' t'whippet wi' yer left boot....)

PS: I'd love a Selecta. No disprespect to Aston Martin... -- just can't afford to take on yours, at the moment: Betty and Pippin are already making a serious dent in what's left of my bank account....
