Panda (Classic) My Selecta

I think karma is making me drive a pink Panda for breaking Fizzle

Not sure what's coming up show wise apart from Thoresby again.

I'd feel better if we could loosely arrange a plan to return Pinky (so would mum!)

You do realise if he breaks I'm hopeless :(

Edit:

Arrange a return via Stanford Hall show maybe?

You seem to assume all Pandas in your possession are going to break....

Stanford's a possibility. I plan to go up there and can give someone a lift if they want to bring Pinky back down South. As usual my biggest problem is that I don't have more than one driver so it's always difficult for me to do anything requiring 2 drivers.

Someone else may want to take Pinky in the meantime of course. (y)

Mrs h may be coming to Stanford with me: so I could always bring Pinky back here (the homewardette would be delighted -- although she's actually on holiday, then...!)?

We would then have to work out how I get him back to VmanC... -- but that, I feel, is a problem for another day.... :D

That sounds quite useful actually, as you could get Pinky back to me if he's not needed elsewhere. I don't mind giving you a lift home subject to the usual limiting factors* (y)

* Limiting factors are most commonly having to stop mucking about with cars in order to pay the mortgage..........

Ok that all seems alright, hopefully someone will be from York or passing through on their way back (y)

Soo, I'll leave York tomorrow at 9ish, 4.5hrs to VmanC's (postcode please ;))

Then take another chario(t) to Palio's (presuming you are in tomorrow pm, postcode again please ;))

I then drive Pinky back to York (YO32 3HW)

Selecta is delivered, I'm in a heap and a Pink panda will get the neighbours talking :D

Sounds so simple......

It's the way you walk that will get them talking when you have pinky :)

I'm sort of looking forward to it all - let's hope the traffic is kind :)

I hope you have a really good journey... -- and that it is both exciting and easy. (y)

If you get the chance -- but only when you're stopped, of course -- please take some piccies.... :D

Oh... -- and thanks for doing this: I think it's quite a noble thing to do.... :worship:

Ta for that, it's a day out isn't it ;)

I do enjoy driving, I'll take a snap with the phone at the destinations unless you wanna see Panda's in service stations :p

I've only driven the selecta onto the drive and it felt very strange, plenty of miles to get used to it though ;)

I'll give a full report later :D

Sorry John, busy evening. I gather Homeward has given you all my details now but yes they are on ltd ed's website.

Thanks very much for doing this, it's a great help. I hope the road trip of the year is a good one and rewards you sufficiently. (y) I'm sure you're making a lot of people very jealous.
