Red is a very hard colour to maintain im afraid, my old car was red and by time I scrapped it, it was pink

So is Yellow - White - Black - Dark blue - Orange

By the time im done its leaves only light blues and silvers that mask the dirt well

Can't say I've had a problem maintaining my black punto

Every time I wash/wax etc it comes out pretty well near enough factory shine...guess it depends how you look after the car and if you do a yearly polish to keep the shine over the yearly seasons? But im no expert on that I just wash and wax my car on a weekly basis

Have you tried Autoglym's Super resin polish ? Great results by hand and even better results by machine. I usually apply 2-3 coats of srp and then top of with Meguiars Ultimate wax .
