lo can any1 tell me what the red key for my car actually does ?????

its to do with the immobiliser, you used to need it to buy new blue keys, but theses days you can get clones, you may never need the red, but keep it in a safe place just in case

I think you also need it to open the Engine management pod up?

Or you cannot tweak the ECU

The ECU cant be played with unless its connected to the correct equipment..

The Red Key is ONLY used to program in Blue Keys and should under no circumstances be used as a replacement for said blue keys!
