My new sub and amp!

Whaoo finally got my new sub and amp as a package for £150 i came out with
1 x JBL GT3-10 10" 400w subwoofers
1 x JBL GTO2000 ampllifier
1 x 10" MDF fully carpeted pre built box
1 x Amp wiring kit

but i am stuck atm with tryin to connect the power cable from the battery to the amp (cant find a hole through the bulk head!)

but anyway heres a picture of the sub fixed in the box with the amp fixed to the top!!

i think it is underneath the battery on the sei - could be the same on the cinq

If you carefully pull up the carpet in the passenger footwell, you should find a gromet there.

Theres a hole behind your pedals directly under the battery, that is where I have fished my amp wire through.

But remeber to keep it out of the way of the pedals

I have the sub, but can't afford the amp yet. I want the gto 4000 to run 2 subs.
nice combo. if u have a sei its under the battery and comes out just above the pedals. perfect to feed under the carpet and under the trim.

Just a warning to say make sure you fix that sub box down well.
You don't want it all to fall over and damage the amp.

Whaooo sorted found that hole just under the steering wheel and the cable went down nicely!
Got all the wires in to the boox and sub sitted with amp just need to tidy the wires up proper and all will look swell!

THE SOUND IS AMAZING!!! BOOOM BOOOM [8D]

really strong deep bass and atm the amp isnt turned up to its full so awsome!!

lol sure does make a hell of a booom will tidy those wires asap but they will still look messy commin from the amp down to the floor i will try and come up with somin to hide them!

I really like that mate, i'm going to have the same setup in my sei, but only with the GTO 4000 amp running it and the rear parcel shelf speakers.

Do u find the parcel shelf rattles like hell when the sub is on[?][?][?]

you think 1 sub is enough then?
i was going to go for 2 of these babies running off a GTO 4000, and another 4000 running the rear speakers and the fronts.
still deisnging my setup tho, so we'll see.
Xplode - build an mdf floor, and drill a hole for all the calbes to comes thru to the amp. I am drawing the floor spec at teh moment, as i made my floor over the weekend.

this is the design of the mdf floor i now have in my sei.
fits most contours of the body, and doesnt move around at all.
I know donz wanted this, and some fotos, not had chance to take any yet, will asap

cheers mate i think i will make a mdf floor in the future atm i will sort out some cable rape and stuff like that to tidy wires!

BTW 1 of these babies is defo powerful enought atm my amp is at about 35% full power and when i turn it up it hurts my hears also when i am driving it sorta masarges my back tis well nice!

hmm we'll see about having one then. dunno yet tho, want a nice install in the boot. spose I could get the second at a later date, when funds are beta. probably going to start building my box this weekend.

donz - I said in the txt that you wanted it lol. hope it helps. will probably taqkes the fotos satruday afternoon, or sunday, but will be in bed most of sunday, as the f1 race is on early in the morning.

Xplode - i'll have a look at the offer. already got 1 of the subs, but I could get the package and use the amp to power my rear speakers.

I'll have a think about that.
